I've always liked Copps in Monona WI and was worried about quality when Pick'n Save took over. In fact, Pick'n Save is a BETTER grocery store in almost every way. Especially the produce department has better fresh choices with competitive prices. Last week's roasted chicken in a bag was perfectly cooked and delicious. Swiping my card leads leads to matching coupons by mail which I actually use. It's a great neighborhood grocery store.
Well, another high priced grocery store that requires a ‘special card’ to get the prices marked for items. The card apparently is used to track all of your purchases and to give the prices marked on items. I went to the service desk to inquire and waited for 5 minutes before anyone showed. Another person ahead of me had already been waiting for quite some time and was irritated. Lousy service and high prices. SAD.
I could have saved $20 today but I didn't because my card and phone number still do not register. Thank goodness for Super Walmart!
After Kroger took over and started the Fresh Perks card I avoid this place like the plague. Now that you need a card to get sale prices, I've tried signing up several times with an employee that types approximately negative 20 wpm. They told me both times that I do not need the card. My phone number STILL doesn't work in the system and there's no way I'm carrying a card around to get a sale price on groceries. Even though I live a couple blocks away, I guess I'll be headed to Woodman's.
It was good as usual , always a Clean Store. Very friendly staff .
